One Day Work Shop on Environmental Awareness -Teachers Role at ODF Estate Yeddumilaram





The work was conducted on 30-11-2011 at Senior Club,ODF erstate with the sponsorship of AP Pollution Control Board,Zonal Office, Ramachandra puram,Medak District. Sri.Rajnish Lodwal AddlGM,OFPM,The Distrit DEO Sri Pro.Jgadiswar , Dr.R.Jayakumar,Asst.Professor,Gitam University,Sri.V.Subramanyam,Retd.-DDG of OFB,Sri.BS Rao, Retd. Scientist F of DRDO ,Sri.Muralimohanrao,retd.Scientist F of DRDO,Sri.PSR Kanakambaram,Social Activist of E.Godavary District and other were participated.Nearly 7o Teachers and 50 others along with the fatory employees were paticipated. Nearly 20 Teachers expressed that these work shops will encourge them to do some thing for environmental protection with the help of students in their respective schools of their villages,but there is need to conduct similaar awareness peograms for their village pweople, so that to get maximum benifits.

It is proposed to conduct one day work shop on 30-11-2011 at Ordnance Factory Estate,Yeddumilaram-502 205, for ZPHSchool Teachers of Sangareddy,Kondapur,Sadasivpet,Patancheru and Ramachandra puram Mandals of Medak District.Interested Private School Teachers also can participate.DEO of Medak District already permitted to conduct the worksho by CRDES. The Protection of Natural Resourcs- workshop





The Tarun Bharat,Rajasthan and NAPM-AP conducted the work shop on 24th &25th October 2011 at Swami ramananda centre,begumpet, Hyderabad.
The CRDES people are also attended the workshop. After discussions,a AP Water management and Protection policy to be evolved under the Chairmanship of Justice Jeevan Reddy(Ret).

In the evening the 5 days PDC programmes are concluded n and Sri.K.Satyanarayana,AddlGM,OFPM attended.Sri.MSHari,Sri.Ramakrishana,Sri.Ambadas,Sri.Jawahar Babu,Sri.Vajai,Sri.BR Nareshkumar and other OFPM person and the other other ZPHS,HMs and Teachers were paticipated.

The strength of ZPHS,Indrakaran village is 41 and the last year 10th class percentage is 40. Sri.R.Khubya is its HM. Sri.MS Hari,Sri.Jawahar Babu,Sri.Shantamurthy of OFPM and Sri.Sridhar,local CRDES representative attended.HM organised the programme where Sri.P.Srinivas conducted the PDC Classed to the students.

PDC programme at ZPHS Yeddumailam Village on 3-8-2011





















The PDC programme is conducted by Sri.P.Srinivas and Sri.MS Hari and Sri.Ambadas and Sri.Vijay attended and Sri.Mohan Das, HM arranged the programme. The strength of 10th class is 49 and last year pass percentage is 58.

CRDES conducted PDC programme at Cheriyala ZPHS on 2-8-2011.Sri.Srinival Pulluri conducted the programme and Sri.MS Hari, Sri.Jawahar Babu,JWM,OFPM attended the programme.The local CRDES rep.Sri Sridhar also attended.Sro.Sivaprasaad,ZPHS,HM arranged the programmee. The 10th class stength is 53 and the last year 10th class pass percentage is 66.

CRDES plans PDC classes

CRDES conducted ome day workshops for 10th Class students of Zilla Paroshat Schools of AP,Medak District at Gangaram Village of kondapur Mandal and Cheriyala Village,Yeddumilaram village,Indrakaram village and ODF school of Sangareddy Mandal on 1st August to 5th August 2011.Sri.Srinivas Pulluri,Student of Arsha Vidya Gurukulam of Swami Dayananda Saraswathi,Coinbattur(TN) and Director of Kaivalya Yoga Institutute ,Hyderabad. He worked as a Yoga Teacher and Activity Coordinator at Oakridge International School,Hyderabad. He had veery good experience in conducting one day workshops as well as residential PDC camps for students at various places.


The main Object of CRDES for conducting these one day PDC workshops for students of these 5 village ZPHSchools are to educate the important of education and the role of students at their villages. The ultimae aim is improve their Pass Percentage in their 10th Class Pass.


Keeping on this on our mind we contacted the ZPHS schools of Gangaram village,Indrakaran village,Cheriyal village,Yeddumilaram and ODF ZPHS HM's and they accepted our proposal and the programmes were startred from 1st Auguat to 5th August 2011. Site Visit by Secretary,CRDES to Virat Nagar,Rajastan,Haridwaar and Dehradun













































The pictures of the JODHAWASA Banjara community Hamlet, where the Asha for Education supported their school up last year. Now the make shift hut damaged can be seen in the picture. The first two pictures are from the BHILWADI banjara hamlet, where the Bal Ashram people BMG group started expecting the Asha funds and closed in the last year due to lack of funds.


Swecretary visited these two hamlets on the advise of Sri.Kandikonda Ravi, Asha co ordinator ,Dallas branch, to find out the ground realities. The Jodhawas community expressed their thanks to Asha people for providing school and bore well and requested to re start the school, in the intrest of their children.Similar condition and requests from the Bhilwadi community also. The BMG grous of Bal Ashram supported these hamlet community by providing the hut numbers,ration cards and power supply through near panchats. At Bhilwadi the near by panchayat provided Bore well also. Secretary recommended financial assistance to these community by Asha in the interest of banjara children.


Next two days secretary visited the BMG supported villages and seen the Bal Panchayats at schools. Interacted with the villagfe people and teachers of the school and known the effects of Bal Panchayats. It is understood that BMG groups are existing at 25 villages and they are already identified some 100 villages.


Before visiting Balashram,Viratnagar, Rajastan on 5th 8th July 2011, he visited Haridwar and met the Rural Development of Baba Ramdev Ashram and met other NGOs and discussed. On 2rd and 3rd he attended the two days conference of NGS at Dehradun.

CRDES VISITS NANDIGAMA VILLAGE ON 21-6-2011









The Goashala,vermicompost,biogas plant an Aged home,etc are maintained by VedantaGayatri chritable trust, and the Managing Trusty Dr.Kishan Rao taken us around the area and explained. There are nearly 180 Cows.Dr.Kishan rao is also having his own trust, and President of Patancheru Anti Pollution Committee , Ex-Chairman of CRDES and present Secretary of SVSC Patancheru Branch.


The Main purpose of the visit is to start a Eco-Friendly Environment by providing a natural HUT with bambu and cashiano materials, for conducting the Students/farmers camps in future with the active support of CRDES/SVSC and Dr.Kishan Rao. The minimum are - 40'x20' to accomidate 50 students with open area and a small pond etc., Sri.Vijai of OFPM,Sri.N.Rama Rao,Chairman of CRDES,Sri.B.Shanker, Member,Sri.M.S.Hari,Secretary,CRDES and other are visited.

SRI VIDYA MANDIR HIGH SCHOOL,SADASIVPET





Last year CRDES provided 3 Computors to this private school, managed by few committed people.Most of the student are under privilaged class. The HM is Sri.J.Fareed Babu. This school achieved 99% in the last year 10th class pass and this Year they achieved 100% pass. There are 12 teachers in this school This school is situated at Sadasivpet,Medak District, AP, which is 70 kms away from Hyderabad . This year CRDES is trying to supply books to the 10th class students depending on our budget.

ONE DAY SEMINAR CONDUCTED BY FAPCCI ON 8-6-2011.



The Federation of Anddhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industryconducted one day National Seminar on RURAL GROWTH IS INDIA'S STRENGTH, Under their wing of Rural Development.

Sri.Rosaiah Garu,ex-CM of AP and Sri.Manikya Varaprasad Rao, the AP Rural Development Minister attended. The Seminar conducted under the guidance of Sri.VV Sanyasi Rao of FAPCCI . Retd.Brig P.Ganeshan, Prof .S.Venkatadri,NIRD,Sri.Harsh Bhargava and other eminet people of their field and the FAPCCI -OFFICE BEARERS Spoken. In this Seminar some foreign delegates are also attended along with local NGOs.

GANGARAM VILLAGE of KONDAPUR MANDAL

Gangaram Village is nearly 75 Kms away from Hyderabad, and is at Kondapur Mandal of Medak District of Andhra Pradesh. The total Population is approximately 1752 . SC-675,BC-720 and OC-357. The voters ar nearly 1503.
There are two schools i.e Primary School from 1st to 5th, where 111 students are studying. In ZPHSchool there are nerly 200 studets are studying. In that 113 boys and 87 girls.
There are 324 families, in that 103 SC,150 BC,56 OC and 15 others. All are farmers. There are 54 cows other than buffalows.There are 24 SHG(Velugu) groups and 252 members.
The village farmers use 1488 acres of land for crops and vegitables.
There are nearly 407 farmers who are possesing this 1488 acres. In that 135 farmers are having one or less 1 acre,52 are having less than 10 acres and remaining are having 10-20 acres. Their main crop is Jonna,Maize,Rice,Pasupu,Cotton and vegitables.
Village Sarpanch is Smt.Ambri Shenkar.
The ZPHS HM is Smt.Vasanta.
CRDES working in that village for the last 3-4 years and formed a branch under the President of Sri.Anand, a Vidya Volunteer and Sri.Chandrasekhar, a Adarsha Raithu of that village. Here the Secretary started a vermicompost demonistrating farm along with a nursery with the co -operation of the agriculture department. CRDES taken the village farmers to ICRISAT for one day training in farming by the scientists of ICRISAT. Also conducts farmers meeting regularly.
Sri, Anand conduct tution classes to the 10th class students after school hours with meager honouroriem of CRDES. CRDES also provides the required study material including the guides and also conducts personality developmnt,yoga classes to the students.
Last year the pass percentage of 10th class students is 99.4 and this year the school acheieved 100 %. The HM and other Teachers are committed and works hard for the betterment of the Students. CRDES planning to orgaise the other local youth programmes in coming days.
This is the small story of CRDES at Gangaram Village.
Now CRDES is planing to start similar activities at four more villages i.e Indrakaran and Yeddumilaram village, OFPM Yeddumilaram estate school, and Cheriyala villages of Sangareddy Mandal of Medak District of AP,
For the last two years CRDES coordinating the IITH students in their NSS activities by taking these students in these 4 village ZPHSchool weekly once.These IITH students takes classes to these government school students in computors,englich etc.,
CRDES planning to coordinate the nearby engineering college students also in similar activities.

CRDES Secretary Sri.N.S.Hari and N.Mallesam member of CRDES visitedKollipara,Penugudurupadu and Cherukupalli Villages of Guntur District, AP on 5-6-2011. At Kollipara village they met Sri.AKL Rao, Organising secretarty of CRDES and the frmers of the village and visited vermicompost plant,diary farm,paper making plant etc., At Penuguduru padu village they met the post master Sri.Chalapati, Sri.Gopal,retired HM and Sri.Sasidhar, Leacturer and SVSC activist. At Cherukupalli village they met SriSambasiva Rao, President,Mother Terasa Swachanda Seva Samithi, SriShaik Khader Vali, President,Navaratna Rural Development Society,Arepalli village and Sri.P.Venkateswaralu, the Adarha Raithu of PV Palem. Discussed their activities. It seems that the Mother Teresa Swachanda Seva Samithi, orgnises every year an eye camp and districutes the scholarships to the needy students of that area.
