ONE DAY SEMINAR CONDUCTED BY FAPCCI ON 8-6-2011.



The Federation of Anddhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industryconducted one day National Seminar on RURAL GROWTH IS INDIA'S STRENGTH, Under their wing of Rural Development.

Sri.Rosaiah Garu,ex-CM of AP and Sri.Manikya Varaprasad Rao, the AP Rural Development Minister attended. The Seminar conducted under the guidance of Sri.VV Sanyasi Rao of FAPCCI . Retd.Brig P.Ganeshan, Prof .S.Venkatadri,NIRD,Sri.Harsh Bhargava and other eminet people of their field and the FAPCCI -OFFICE BEARERS Spoken. In this Seminar some foreign delegates are also attended along with local NGOs.

GANGARAM VILLAGE of KONDAPUR MANDAL

Gangaram Village is nearly 75 Kms away from Hyderabad, and is at Kondapur Mandal of Medak District of Andhra Pradesh. The total Population is approximately 1752 . SC-675,BC-720 and OC-357. The voters ar nearly 1503.
There are two schools i.e Primary School from 1st to 5th, where 111 students are studying. In ZPHSchool there are nerly 200 studets are studying. In that 113 boys and 87 girls.
There are 324 families, in that 103 SC,150 BC,56 OC and 15 others. All are farmers. There are 54 cows other than buffalows.There are 24 SHG(Velugu) groups and 252 members.
The village farmers use 1488 acres of land for crops and vegitables.
There are nearly 407 farmers who are possesing this 1488 acres. In that 135 farmers are having one or less 1 acre,52 are having less than 10 acres and remaining are having 10-20 acres. Their main crop is Jonna,Maize,Rice,Pasupu,Cotton and vegitables.
Village Sarpanch is Smt.Ambri Shenkar.
The ZPHS HM is Smt.Vasanta.
CRDES working in that village for the last 3-4 years and formed a branch under the President of Sri.Anand, a Vidya Volunteer and Sri.Chandrasekhar, a Adarsha Raithu of that village. Here the Secretary started a vermicompost demonistrating farm along with a nursery with the co -operation of the agriculture department. CRDES taken the village farmers to ICRISAT for one day training in farming by the scientists of ICRISAT. Also conducts farmers meeting regularly.
Sri, Anand conduct tution classes to the 10th class students after school hours with meager honouroriem of CRDES. CRDES also provides the required study material including the guides and also conducts personality developmnt,yoga classes to the students.
Last year the pass percentage of 10th class students is 99.4 and this year the school acheieved 100 %. The HM and other Teachers are committed and works hard for the betterment of the Students. CRDES planning to orgaise the other local youth programmes in coming days.
This is the small story of CRDES at Gangaram Village.
Now CRDES is planing to start similar activities at four more villages i.e Indrakaran and Yeddumilaram village, OFPM Yeddumilaram estate school, and Cheriyala villages of Sangareddy Mandal of Medak District of AP,
For the last two years CRDES coordinating the IITH students in their NSS activities by taking these students in these 4 village ZPHSchool weekly once.These IITH students takes classes to these government school students in computors,englich etc.,
CRDES planning to coordinate the nearby engineering college students also in similar activities.

CRDES Secretary Sri.N.S.Hari and N.Mallesam member of CRDES visitedKollipara,Penugudurupadu and Cherukupalli Villages of Guntur District, AP on 5-6-2011. At Kollipara village they met Sri.AKL Rao, Organising secretarty of CRDES and the frmers of the village and visited vermicompost plant,diary farm,paper making plant etc., At Penuguduru padu village they met the post master Sri.Chalapati, Sri.Gopal,retired HM and Sri.Sasidhar, Leacturer and SVSC activist. At Cherukupalli village they met SriSambasiva Rao, President,Mother Terasa Swachanda Seva Samithi, SriShaik Khader Vali, President,Navaratna Rural Development Society,Arepalli village and Sri.P.Venkateswaralu, the Adarha Raithu of PV Palem. Discussed their activities. It seems that the Mother Teresa Swachanda Seva Samithi, orgnises every year an eye camp and districutes the scholarships to the needy students of that area.

The Passed students of ZPHS,Gangaram's 10th class joined at a Get together party on 29th May with CRDES Local Secretary and President.This school achieved 100% success.

CONGRATULATIONS

CRDES congratulates Smt.Vasanta, Head Mistress and Sri. Anand, Vidya volunteer of CRDES and other Teachers, of ZPHSchool, Gangaram Village,Kondaapur Mandal,Medak District of AP, for their achievement of 100 percent Pass of 10th Class Students. Last year they achieved 96 percent. CRDES also congratulates the students for their hard work.

Swami Vivekananda Study Circle conducted One day Work Shop for Engineering Colleger Students at Ordnance Factory Estate, Yeddumailaram,Medak District On Eco Friendly Technology on 31-3-2011sponsored by APPCB.
Sri.VK Panda,General Manager of OFPMInagurated the Workshop and explained the details of the eco friendly technology.Professsor.UB Desai,Director,IIT Hyderabad, explained the need of the technology. Dr.Kishan Rao, Environmentalist, explained the effects of Industrial Pollution at Patancheru area and advised to the students to study the existing conditions and suggest the remedial actions.Sri.Ramireddy of AP-Jenco explained Genco projects and the usage of latest techlogy to minimise the pollution from their projects. Dr.Jayakumar, Asst Professor, Gitam University explained various types of technologies and explained the solid waste management for maintaining the less pollution. Sri BV Ramanamurthy,MD,Enviro.Tech, explained the effulant plant and asked the students to visit their plant and see how they are trying to minimise the pollution.Sri.Veeranna, Scientific Officer of APPCB explained the existing pollution control laws and its implementation by then before and after sanctioning the permission to the industries.
There are nearly 250 students and 50 of factorty employees and the local school headmasters.
